Capturing Living Worlds
Discover nature through photography as you capture living connections, dynamic scenes, and powerful stories with simple techniques, presented in partnership with Sentosa and Earth in Focus for the inaugural Sentosa Nature Photography Competition 2026.
In this session, you will learn about:
- Identify living beings and living land in everyday scenes
- Use the environment to support your subject, not distract from it
- Capture moments of connection that bring photos to life
- Compose scenes that feel dynamic and alive, not flat
- Apply simple techniques (light, movement, positioning) to improve storytelling
Ideal for anyone:
- Looking to learn to capture close-up object with the ideal camera settings using the Nikon Z Series.
- With basic knowledge of exposure (aperture/shutter speed/ISO) and camera controls
- Wants to learn more about the Nikon Z Series mirrorless camera
- Wants to test drive the Nikon Z Series mirrorless cameras and Z Series Lenses, all equipment will be shared among participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
