SECTION I: NIKON SCHOOL - TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS AND CONDITIONS")

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully!
Nikon cannot be held responsible under the law for any failure to read and understand the Terms and Conditions.

If you are below eighteen (18) years of age, you must register with Nikon School through your parents/guardians and with their consent.

FOR "GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR NIKON" - BASICS OF PHOTOGRAPHY or BASICS OF VIDEOGRAPHY COURSE (FREE COURSE)

• "Getting Started with Your Nikon" is free of charge for Nikon Mirrorless cameras purchased within 12 months from an Authorized Dealer in Singapore. (Normal charges: $30.00 for parallel import products or cameras older than 12 months.)
• Each camera is valid for 2 places in any "Getting Started with Your Nikon" classes per month for a period of 12 months. Therefore, you can attend with a friend, partner, family member, etc.
• All attendees must show the following 2 items:
  • Original Warranty Card with "Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd." printed on it.
  • Original purchase receipt/invoice from a Nikon Singapore Authorized Dealer bought less than 12 months ago (see the list of Authorized Dealers here)
  • If you do not meet the above criteria, you must pay the standard course fees of SGD30.00 and show us the Payment Letter that is e-mailed to you after payment is made.

FOR PAID COURSES/EVENTS

• If the course or event is cancelled by Nikon (e.g. due to bad weather or poor demand), we will arrange a replacement class on a backup date.
• Please note that Nikon does not give refunds for course fees if you are not able to attend. If you have a valid reason for not attending, e.g. sickness or last-minute work, your instructor may allow you to attend on another date.

FOR ALL COURSES/EVENTS

• Customers are required to bring their camera/equipment with fully charged batteries unless otherwise stated.
• Loan equipment and chargers will not be provided unless stated.
• When registering, please provide a valid e-mail address and phone number so that we can inform you of any changes.
• Customers attending the course are to comply with the rules and regulations of the training facilit(ies).
• Courses will always commence on time if 60% of the registrants are present.
• The number of registrations for the course may be subject to changes by Nikon Singapore without prior notice.
• Nikon Singapore Pte Ltd reserves the right to:
  • Change the venues, trainers or course contents. It is important to check your e-mail for changes.
  • Amend or cancel any of the training dates.
  • Amend and delete any of the above terms and conditions. 
  • Debar or refuse admission without explanation or refund of course fees as it deems necessary for the proper or safe conduct of the course.

USAGE OF NIKON SCHOOL PROMO CODE

• Promo Code is honoured only for selected courses conducted by Nikon School Singapore.
• Only ONE Promo Code can be used per registration.
• Promo Code can be used in conjunction with other discounts, subject to Nikon School's discretion.
• Promo Code carries no cash value and is not exchangeable or refundable for cash.
• There will be strictly no extension on the validity period.
• Nikon School reserves all rights to retract, terminate or reject the use of the issued Promo Code without any obligation for an explanation.
• Promo Codes are generated for ONE(1) TIME use only unless stated otherwise in the specific Promo Code's terms and conditions.

SECTION II: PERSONAL DATA

• You confirm that you are above the age of 18 years and that by agreeing to these Terms of Conditions, you consent and agree that:
  1. Nikon may collect, use and disclose your personal data (including your name, gender, contact number and email address) provided in your registration form for the purposes of:
     1. contacting you to update you on the details and scheduling of any Nikon School courses that you have registered for;
     2. providing Nikon School services and/or products requested by you; and/or
     3. improving Nikon School courses, services and/or products, in accordance with and subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy (accessible at https://www.nikon.com.sg/privacypolicy).
  2. The personal data/information supplied by you or collected from you may also be transferred to and/or within Nikon Corporation and its subsidiaries (which includes Nikon) in different jurisdictions (collectively, the "Nikon Group") for the purposes set out at Clause 1 above.
  3. When attending Nikon School course(s), please also note that such courses may be recorded by us (in the form of photography, video and/or audio recordings). By attending such course(s), your image and/or voice may be recorded to be used in Nikon’s internal and/or external media channels for marketing and/or internal updates in respect of Nikon School course(s).
  4. Nikon may disclose your personal data to our third-party service providers and/or data processors to process or back up your personal data, provide customer service or address your enquiries and/or conduct customer research or customer satisfaction services (which could include contacting you for your feedback regarding your experience with our services). As a result, we may disclose your personal data to our third-party service providers or our data processors' overseas facilities.
  5. Subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy, you may, at any time:
     • access your personal data to correct, update, restrict, anonymise, block or have us delete it (unless we are legally obliged to keep it),
     • request that we send you a copy of your personal data,
     • request that we transfer your personal data to another person, organisation or business of your choosing; or
     • withdraw your consent to our continued use and disclosure of your personal data, in accordance with our Privacy Policy (accessible at https://www.nikon.com.sg/privacypolicy).
  6. In the event you withhold or withdraw your consent, you acknowledge and agree that this may result in Nikon being no longer able to provide the requested services to you as a consequence, and Nikon will be entitled to cease the provision of such services to you without incurring any liability on its part.
