FAQ:
Would there be a lot of walking required?
- No, we will be inside the Arena of Stars throughout the event. We will only be moving during meal breaks and to/fro the event venue.
I understand that there are a lot of activities planned. Can I choose not to participate in any of the programs if I would like to rest?
- Yes, all activities are optional, and you may choose to attend according to your preference.
Can I book my own transportation?
- Yes, you can. But do note that there will be no subsidy, and you will be required to pay the same price.
Will long-distance travel be by transportation, such as cars, buses, boats, etc.?
- Yes, land transport (bus) from 18 Tai Seng, Singapore to Genting Highlands, Pahang. The journey can be about 8 hours each way. Please bring any medications required if there are concerns of motion sickness resulting from the travel means and durations.
What photography skills do I need?
- The least you need is a love for photography!
What type of cameras should I bring?
- You may bring any type of camera; however, a mirrorless camera, DSLR or camera with interchangeable telephoto lens(es) would be preferable.
Is there anything to take note of about my passport?
- Participants MUST ensure that their passport possesses 6 months of validity at the point of departure. A copy of the passport may be requested for verification upon payment of the photo trip.
Is a Visa required for this trip?
- Visa would not be required for Singaporeans; however, for all other nationalities, please check the following website at https://www.kln.gov.my/web/sgp_singapore/requirement_foreigner for Visa requirements. Should you require assistance with the visa application, please contact us.
When would the exact details of the itinerary be shared?
- Exact details of the itinerary will be shared during the pre-trip briefing. The dates for the pre-trip briefing will be on 21st July 2025. Please make yourself available for the pre-trip briefing.
Will there be any equipment loan available for this trip?
- Yes, but the equipment will be on a first come, first served basis. Collection during the pre trip briefing.
